Doug Connolly and I are pleased to announce the release of our podcast: Where I’m Not. The podcast is still a work in progress, but, as the title implies, that’s okay.
Right now, the show mostly involves Doug and me talking about why we wish we were somewhere else (me, not in Africa; Doug, not in America). But the show will also include mention of other ways in which a person can be somewhere other than where they wish they were. The goal is for the podcast to include an entertaining discussion of religion, travel, and comedy… but without any pressure to actually be entertaining or touch on those topics.
Episode 1 can be found here: Where I’m Not. I hope you will take the time to listen, subscribe, and rate the podcast on iTunes. Or, you can download it directly here. After you click on the link, right click on the audio player and “save as.”
In the 1st episode, I talk about the sewage problem outside our apartment building and Doug talks about the phenomenon (?) of Civil War Reenactment. Here’s a video of the sewage problem I mention:
And, also, here is a clip of How the South Was Lost — which gets a mention in the podcast during Doug’s gripe about Civil War Reenactment.
Enjoy.
Can i find these somewhere other than itunes?
Yes, Ian. Hapa: feed://blip.tv/whereimnotshow/rss/itunes/. I’ll discuss with my pal about uploading up straight to the blog next time.
